Remembering the Battle of Chippawa

A good crowd gathered for the 199th anniversary of the Battle of Chippawa.

Veterans, Dignitaries, and Re-enactors  were in attendance for the ceremony.  Niagara Falls Historian Sherman Zavitz Recounted the events of the battle.  A significant turning point in the War of 1812. It was the first time British, Canadian, and Native troops were defeated by American troops.
