B of Q Mohawk Chief attends War of 1812 ceremony

Prime Minister Stephen Harper is praising aboriginals who fought in the War of 1812.

In a ceremony today at Rideau Hall, Harper paid tribute to the aboriginals of yesteryear.

Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte Chief R. Don Maracle was at the ceremony and underlined the importance of the role native Canadians played during the war.
