NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE – Relax and enjoy as local unsung artists display their Expressions of the War of 1812 and its Bicentennial Commemorations at Niagara-on-the-Lake’s Niagara Nights of Art event on Wednesday.“1812 Bicentennial Expressions Community Event” is a part of the Niagara Nights of Art, Cultural Capital of Canada 2012 program put on by the Town and the 1812 Bicentennial Committee.This is a free, family-friendly event meant to celebrate the artists in our community and showcase their talents. Refreshments and hors d’oeuvres will be served throughout the evening.
Artistic Expressions will be shown via visual art, live performance, literature art and new media.
The event is on Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Navy Hall.
All are welcome and invited to dress the part!
