This year’s theme commemorates the Bicentennial of the War of 1812. Those who attend will learn about the war, the significance to this area, religious life in the 1830’s, and more.
This event is designed to showcase the collection of the 1800’s structures located in a village at Quinsippi Island Park.
“For people to realize that they can really get an opportunity to know what the times were like in 1812 and how important this war was,” said Quincy Mayor John Spring.
Also going on that weekend is “Smoking on the River” which takes place near by at Kessler Park. And the Antique Auto Museum will have a special post season opening.
