Navy Week has arrived in northeastern Ohio.
The event drops anchor in Cleveland this week as part of the commemoration of the bicentennial of the War of 1812.
Six ships of the U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard and Royal Canadian Navy will take part. All will be docked at the Port of Cleveland and open for public viewing.
Other public events planned during the week include performances by the U.S. Navy Band, the U.S. Navy Divers, the Blue Angels and the Leapfrogs, the Navy’s parachute demonstration team. The week will also include presentations about the War of 1812.
