COSHOCTON —
The Coshocton Public Library will be hosting “An Evening with Dolley Madison” as portrayed by Alice Hoover from 6:30 to 7:30 on Sept. 24 at the library, 655 Main St., Coshocton.
Dolley Madison, wife of President James Madison, lived through two wars that established the United States, was friends with the first twelve presidents and watched America evolve from a struggling young republic into the first modern democracy in the world.
In this bicentennial year of the War of 1812, guests are invited to the library to hear about this remarkable woman who became America’s first First Lady.
Registration for the event is required. For more information or to register, call 740-622-0956 or visit www.coshoctonlibrary.org.
