Look up the air! Look out on the harbor! Wow! It was one spectacle after another on the North End / Waterfront and downtown Boston during the 4th of July Bicentennial Commemoration of the War of 1812.

The U.S. Navy’s renowned Blue Angels performed several aerial demonstrations during the USS Constitution turnaround. The Blue Angels were joined by several other military aerial performances, including formation teams, special planes and the Navy Seal “Leap Frogs” also jumped out of a plane from over 6,000 feet in the air, landing on the waterfront.

The afternoon event featured USS Constitution underway for her annual 4th of July turnaround, accompanied this year by America’s Tall Ship, the USCGC Barque Eagle.
